This caboose, based on a design from International Car company, was built by the Mo-Pac between 1977 and 1983. Although commonly mistaken as a transfer caboose, the Mo-Pac used these in road service. Many of these cars were kept by Union Pacific after the merger, and continue to see service today wearing a variety of colors including their original Mo-Pac vermillion, UP MOW green and recently UP yellow.
This unique craftsman kit is composed of many high quality urethane castings including a one piece body. This kit now features etched metal handrails, near scale width coupler pockets designed for Kadee #78 couplers and improved brake rigging details. The kit also contains trucks with semi-scale metal wheel sets, M.V. Products marker light lenses, decals and full color, step by step instructions on a mini CD-ROM. Everything you will need to build the model except tools, glue, paint and couplers.
